Plasma torch (plasma generator) is the core part of the process. When the off frequency electric field is applied to the induction coil of the plasma torch, the charged particles produced by ionization in the plasma working gas move at a high speed under the action of the electromagnetic field, collide with the gas atoms, ionize them rapidly and massively, and form an avalanche discharge. The arc of the plasma torch ionizes the gas and becomes a plasma flame. The flame penetration is very strong, which can be reached in one thousandth of a second When the temperature is above 2000 ℃, a torch like stable plasma flame is formed at the nozzle.




Plasma treatment of hazardous waste technology is the use of high-temperature plasma produced by plasma torch to rapidly decompose hazardous waste, in which organic matter is pyrolyzed into combustible small molecular substances, toxic, corrosive and infectious substances are completely pyrolyzed and gasified into combustible syngas (the main components are CO and H2); inorganic matter is melted at high temperature to form vitreous like residue; flue gas is purified It can achieve ultra-low emission and meet the national air emission standard.




This technology has a wide range of applications, and can deal with industrial hazardous waste, medical waste, municipal hazardous waste, incineration fly ash, oilfield hazardous waste and other solid, semi-solid, liquid waste and other hazardous wastes. Plasma harmless treatment equipment and related technologies have been included in the catalogue of major environmental protection technology and equipment encouraged by the state.




The technology has the following eight advantages:




1. It is widely used. It can deal with all kinds of sludge, oil sludge, oil-based drilling cuttings, medical waste, waste leachate, medical chemical waste liquid, ash, incineration fly ash, organic waste salt, etc. Mobile skid mounted equipment can be used for emergency treatment, and fixed equipment can be used for large-scale treatment.




2. Module integration. The system is composed of reduction pretreatment, plasma vitrification, flue gas treatment, automatic control and other modules, and the system is fully optimized.




3. Deal with it thoroughly. The harmful substance molecules in hazardous waste are thoroughly treated, and the generated ash and fly ash eventually form a glass body. The glass body has been sampled and tested by Shandong analysis and testing center, and all the indexes meet the technical requirements for vitrification products of solid waste.




4. Low cost, high efficiency. For the matrix combination of the plasma generator, the service life of the plasma generator is 10 times longer than that of the imported generator, which is more than 5000 hours; the price is reduced by 5 times; the intelligent temperature control, accurate incineration, thermal efficiency is more than 90%, and the direct operating cost is reduced by more than 50%, which greatly reduces the energy consumption and improves the treatment efficiency.




5. Safe and reliable, convenient maintenance. The safety protection meets the requirements of fire and explosion-proof specifications; the equipment is composed of modularization, which can be disassembled in a single section for cleaning, maintenance and replacement, and the maintenance and overhaul is very convenient.




6. The equipment occupies less land and is easy to install. The fixed equipment with a daily treatment capacity of 20 tons covers an area of only 200 square meters; the mobile skid mounted equipment is assembled in standard containers and can be used in hazardous waste site.




7. Accurate control of furnace temperature to solve the problem of hanging wall. By precisely controlling the melting temperature, speed and other parameters, the world problem of furnace wall hanging is solved, and the furnace life is increased by more than 4 times.




8. For different hazardous wastes, an integrated overall solution is developed.
